Plant Operations Head – Wooden Packaging Unit
- Role Summary
- Responsible for overall plant operations including production, manpower, quality, maintenance, material management, and on-time dispatch of wooden packaging products (pallets, crates, boxes).
- Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production and ensure targets are met.
- Manage carpenters, operators, helpers, and shift manpower.
- Ensure quality checks and compliance with ISPM-15 and heat treatment.
- Plan material requirements and coordinate with suppliers.
- Monitor machine maintenance (saws, nailers, cutters, forklifts, HT chamber).
- Maintain shop-floor discipline, safety, and 5S.
- Track production, rejection, and wastage; share daily MIS.
- Skills Required
- Strong shop-floor management
- Knowledge of wooden packaging processes
- Basic machine maintenance
- Quality and safety awareness
- Team handling & problem solving
- Location: Binola Industrial Area, Near Manesar
- Qualification: Diploma (Mechanical/Production/Industrial)
- Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing; wooden packaging experience preferred
